There are a variety of treatment options available to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, one of which is injections with Botulinum Toxin, commonly known as “Botox”. This is a prescription only treatment that temporarily prevents the muscles from contracting by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles.
This allows the wrinkles to relax and soften. It is most often used on forehead lines, crows feet and frown lines. Wrinkles caused by sun damage and gravity will not respond to Botox injections.

Wrinkle relaxing injections are especially effective for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the upper face. After your treatment, you’ll notice an improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles in around 7 to 14 days. Some patients observe an improvement within just a few days.
The treatment is extremely safe and has few adverse effects. Any side effects encountered are typically mild.
Wrinkle relaxing (Botox) injections are less effective at treating lines on the lower face. If you want to enhance the appearance of the skin on your lower face, dermal fillers may be a viable option.
Effects last between three and six months. On average, the treatment would need to be repeated every three to four months in order to maintain results.

Botulinum Toxin type A is the most common form of botox used in cosmetic procedures. However, not everyone is a suitable candidate. Generally speaking, patients need to be at least 18 years old with moderate-to-severe lines or creases on their face that are caused by dynamic muscle movements – such as frowning, squinting or smiling.

At Hanbury Park we believe that every great result begins with a thoughtful conversation.
Before your first Botox treatment,a personalized consultation ensures your experience is safe, comfortable, and beautifully tailored to you.

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is an essential nutrient that contributes to the body functioning properly.
Vitamin C has a positive impact on fatigue, tiredness, skin pigmentation, allergy resistance and can help to lower hypertension, and even help to prevent against heart disease.
Vitamin C is also an antioxidant, meaning that it can neutralise free radicals that can damage cells on a genetic level.
This vitamin is widely considered as a natural defence against the common cold and an immune booster.

Biotin, also known as Vitamin B7, is known for its ability to make hair strong and shiny, preventing hair loss, and strengthening brittle nails. It’s also an essential component in helping the body convert food into energy, and helping to metabolise fats and protein from our food.
For many people, a Vitamin B7 deficiency can lead to significant problems with their skin’s inner health and outer appearance. Dry, itchy skin is one of the most common issues people suffer from, although more serious conditions like acne and eczema can also arise along with tiredness and depression. In most cases, a biotin supplement can correct the issue, helping to create a healthier youthful glow.
